In his mind, the future isn't a gleaming cosmos or a yacht at the dock, but flip-flops, old tattoos, and a cocktail with a sea view. Everything seems worn, but incredibly alive. It's funny to think that happiness might look exactly like this: under a palm tree, slightly out of breath, surrounded by grandchildren and one's own illusions that no longer feel tight. The music brings a smile, like an old vacation photo where everything wasn't perfect, but it was good enough to bring tears to your eyes. It embodies the philosophy of those who have realised that even if something was lost along the way, it was still worth it. And if it's suddenly forgotten, let it be, at least it was. And, damn, it was wonderful.
