Description
Warm longing in a cup of evening tea. Everything seems to be in its place, the TV is murmuring, the frying pan is sizzling, but it feels like there's a sound missing, the one that used to fill the pauses between breaths. The habit of "us" hangs in the air, so stubborn that even a spoon in a bowl clinks a little louder than necessary. The song is like it's quietly sitting down beside me, not asking anything, just listening. It contains those very little things that make a home: laughter until tears, a silent series playing in the background, a cooled-down sofa, and a forgotten second glass. And it somehow becomes clear that love isn't about eternal promises, but about not turning off the light until the other person falls asleep.

And maybe it won't even be this evening.
The right evening to get back together, get back to being together.
Maybe it won't even be this evening.
And the lady there told me, looking out on the fourth floor, with a cigarette in her mouth as she hung out her laundry.
I replied to her that I would like, I would like, I would like, I would like, I would like, I would like to go back to when it was enough for us to laugh, cry, make love and then stay in silence for hours until we fell asleep on the sofa with the remote control in our hand.
I don't know what to do without you anymore, because you make me live and forget.
You who start singing while you cook.
And you call her if you want the end, but how should I tell you?
This life is not life without you. But you know that this evening I'm feeling nostalgic, I'm lighting up there
TV just to keep me company. What a beautiful life.
I mean, do you think it's the way you go and leave me here?
I still look for you in the house when my back itches and I still put an extra plate when I set the table for dinner.
I only know that I would like, I would like, I would like, yes, I would like, I would like to go back to when it was enough for us to laugh, cry, make love and then stay in silence for hours until we fell asleep on the sofa with the remote control in our hands.
I don't know what to do without you anymore, because you make me live and forget.
You who start singing while you cook.
And you call her if you want the end, but how should I tell you?
This life is not life without you.
But who knows why, oh, this life isn't life without you.
Maybe it won't be, mm-mm, maybe it's already over.
But I love you and it has been for life.
