Balorda nostalgia

Warm longing in a cup of evening tea. Everything seems to be in its place, the TV is murmuring, the frying pan is sizzling, but it feels like there's a sound missing, the one that used to fill the pauses between breaths. The habit of "us" hangs in the air, so stubborn that even a spoon in a bowl clinks a little louder than necessary. The song is like it's quietly sitting down beside me, not asking anything, just listening. It contains those very little things that make a home: laughter until tears, a silent series playing in the background, a cooled-down sofa, and a forgotten second glass. And it somehow becomes clear that love isn't about eternal promises, but about not turning off the light until the other person falls asleep.
