Jalouse

Any attempt to "just reply to a message" ends in disaster. Especially if the message is from your ex. It all seemed to start with a harmless "how are you," but it ended with drowning in my own feelings, pride, and a couple of questionable decisions. Where I should have remained silent, my egocentric inner director took over, and now the scene is pure chaos, but with an excellent soundtrack. A dance on the edge of shame and desire, where every beat sounds like "why again," and every chorus is an attempt to convince yourself that everything is under control. Actually, of course not. Someone just confused pride with love again and jumped headfirst into that "shit," but at least with a beat that hits harder than any apology.
