Hab manchmal so viel vor, weiß nicht, wohin damit.
Die Zeit, sie rennt und ich renn mit. Puste Kerzen aus. Wieder ein Jahr vorbei.
Weiß noch, als ich zwanzig war, schien vierzig ewig weit.
Ich wollt noch in Japan die Kirschblüten sehen. Hoch von der Startbahn aus dem Flieger springen.
Mich selber finden auf diesem Jakobsweg. Italienisch lernen, kann kaum ein Wort verstehen.
Doch weißt du was?
Jetzt mach ich das.
Der erste Schritt tut halt am Anfang manchmal weh.
Doch werd's nicht bereuen, auch wenn ich hunderttausend geh.
Und wenn ich irgendwann da oben steh, wer weiß, vor wem, wer weiß, vor wem.
Zwischen all dem Glück und den Tränen werd ich mit nem Lächeln erzählen: Ich hab gelebt.
Hab von klein auf schon gedacht, so wie ich leb, ich sterb. An diesem Gift oder an
Blei, bevor ich dreißig werd.
Dabei war immer schon mein größter Wunsch Familie haben. Gemeinsam mit 'ner Frau und Kinder abends einzuschlafen.
Hab trotzdem Glück gehabt. Zwei wundervolle Kids und eine Ex, die nach wie vor in meinem Herzen ist.
Und ein paar tausend Menschen, die mich fühlen, wenn ich sing.
Und mir geholfen haben zu sehen, wer ich wirklich bin.

Sometimes I have so much planned, I don't know what to do with it.
