When love turns into a battlefield, even victories sound like defeats. And then silence, like after fireworks, only instead of glitter, ash falls. The room seemed to expand, but the light became dimmer, and the air now smells of regret, mixed with the remnants of pride. The music seems to exhale along with the voice: tired, but honest. In every word, there's a hint of those arguments where no one won. It's only growing up that comes not with age, but with the realisation that you can't go back, even if you really want to. And all the watches on your wrist are useless when the time in which "we" was lost is gone.
