Description
Heartbeats quicken as if a division match has been announced in my chest: each glance is like a derby, where instead of a whistle, emotions rise and fall. Here, infatuation is mixed with irritation, as if sympathy had come to visit with a ladle of madness and left a couple of broken expectations; it's both frightening and exciting at the same time, and that makes you want to both jump back and stay in the rain. A gentle irony creeps in when it seems that a part of another person has settled somewhere near your own memories and refuses to leave. A pleasant confusion in voice and gestures, as if it's time to become more flexible, but etiquette doesn't prescribe flexibility. The desire to protect from fools coexists with the understanding that one's own flaws look no better under a magnifying glass; this brings a smile without bitterness, a little whimsical and honest. The music leaves a feeling of a delayed vacation from emotions – sometimes it's painful and funny, sometimes warm and understandable, like a diary written between the lines of a match and a dance.
