Cold October again reminds us that time can be cruel. Everything around seems to be on pause - even the rain does not stop, as if on purpose to wash out old wounds. The pullover still retains someone else’s tears and the smell of the past, and the same “favorite” is spinning in my head - false, confusing, but this only makes it more honest.

It seems that no one has left anywhere - neither from the room, nor from the memories. We just learned to live in them more quietly, without loud words and with notifications turned off. Sometimes your hand still reaches out to check if someone has written... But instead you find an old thing, smile wryly and think: “Yes, it’s cold in October. But maybe this is for the better.”
