no lo ves

It sounds like an argument in which the truth has long been lost between the words ‘no lo ves’ and ‘pero tú’. When feelings are laid bare on the table, but the other person stubbornly looks away, compares, searches for foreign traits where there is only the living ‘I am here and now.’ This causes both anger and tenderness to build up inside - because it hurts to be underestimated, but it hurts even more when people don't notice what is being given completely.
