The song sounds like a confession in the dark - fragile, trembling, like fingers that cannot bring themselves to open. The words are permeated with rain, unspoken phrases and this strange feeling: together it's too loud, apart it's too quiet. There is no pretence here, only naked vulnerability, when the world seems unstable and a person is the last resort.

The rhythm rocks you like breathing before sleep, but underneath it there is a tension that won't let go. Between the lines, photographs forgotten in a wallet, strangers' glances, petty grievances emerge. It all sounds like a plea not to let go, not only of hands, but of the whole meaning that keeps one afloat.
