The door slams shut for the last time, and suddenly it becomes clearer outside: it is cool, lonely, and without comforting excuses. Promises crumble like the light of neon signs in the club's mirror, and the habit of waiting remains on the shelf, where it has long been gathering dust.

Pain and irony go hand in hand: love has left behind a lot of noise and empty words, and the nights have left behind broken shop windows of memories. I want to scream straight into the sky, but all that comes out is the dull thud of my heart and a quiet ‘you fucked up,’ uttered without hope of a response.

And yet, there is a strange neatness in this closure. The farewell does not look like a disaster, but like the last breath of air before finally breathing on your own. A slight resentment, warm anger and a willingness to leave the keys behind - only coldness and determination remain in your pocket.
