Pixels

A song is like a portal to that very game that you once turned on ‘for five minutes’ and came out of a few years later, more mature. Only now, instead of pixels, there is reflection; instead of bugs, there are memories; and instead of the end of the level, there is the realisation that ‘it was all real.’

There is no clear boundary between the world on the screen and what is in the heart. Because in both cases there were friends, chats until dawn, dragons (of various forms) and the feeling that together anything is possible. Even flying, if you get up a little speed.

The track seems to remind us that growing up is not a reset. It's an upgrade. And the saves are still here somewhere, in our memory. Or in our playlist.
