Greed, obsessed with the finest of things

He takes what he wants, his eyes glimmer in green

Don't wanna be a superstar

Just wanna have a house and car

But in this cruel society

The prices never go down, you see

I keep savin' up, while my money keeps countin's less

But even talkin' to my therapist is causin' me stress

The greatest thief of all time, he walks in plain sight

Some call him a billionaire, but me, I call him by

Greed, obsessed with the finest of things

He takes what he wants, his eyes glimmer in green

Greed, won't rest till he's crowned as a king

From the land to the sea, he'll take all that he needs

Now all I see is his super car

Drivin' 'round while I'm workin' hard

Everybody's complimentin' him

Lookin' past his dirty sins

He keeps goin' up, buildin' cities out from under the ground

No matter what I do, I see his stupid face all around

And worst of all is when I told my therapist what I found

He said, be careful, you see

Before Greed was a bad guy, he lived a simple life

Then gold fell beneath his eyes, and they all called him by

Envy, obsessed with the wealth of a king

He wants what you have, cause he feels incomplete

Envy, won't rest till he has what he's seen

From your head to your feet, he wants all that he sees

So seven sins, don't let 'em in

They'll all lead to your death in the end

Whether it's lust, pride, greed, envy, or gluttony

Sloth and wrath, don't choose that path
