Blessings

Know I had trials and tribulations.

I'm tryna be liberated from my guts and baggage, but I won't let it hold me.

I may seem full of regret, but I let God do the rest. I don't deserve this hurt, no matter what my father told me.

Riding on the edge, I lay it all on my chest.

My heart is full even though I come from a broken home and. They say life is survival.

Been caught in a cycle, but I guess that's life though. And that PTSD gets me every time.

When the world is getting dark, that's when you gotta shine. You know I gotta count my blessings.

Not everybody get to wake up in the morning, so I count my blessings.

I see my brothers and sisters falling, so I get up. Learn my lesson. Thankful for what

I got, but I still get tested sometimes.

I done these trenches one too many times.

Ain't going back, making changes in my life. I been listening to my intuition.

No more resisting, ain't missing my blessings. Protect my peace, I'm vigilant by design.

I stand for me and I put that on my life. Don't you see this dedication in my eyes? Know I should let it shine.
