Here, passion is served in auto-tuned aluminium foil, and tenderness is a bug that's immediately fixed. Between the lines, there's a smell of energy drinks, expensive perfumes, and a sleepless night where no one owes anyone anything. It feels like reality itself is a bit tipsy here: someone is shouting about sex and cards, someone is playing cynical, but between the lines, it's the same old story about wanting to be liked and not appear weak.
