Ghostbusters

A dusty street, the streetlights flicker, and suddenly a lively synthesiser appears out of nowhere, as if someone decided to throw a party in the middle of the apocalypse. Fear has no place here: instead of screams and panic, there's a rocking, infectious rhythm and the confidence that you can negotiate with ghosts to a beat. The music seems to wink: yes, the world has gone crazy, but we have backing vocals and a sense of humour. This melody is one of those that turns fear into a dance. A ghost flies out of the closet, and instead of screaming, we sing along, call the team, and have a blast. And it seems that any "boo!" loses its power if you meet it with a smile and a good bass voice.
