Good Ol' Days

Sometimes it feels like feelings are just a wave that has completely overwhelmed you, and the only way not to drown is to lie on a board and ride the waves. That's exactly how it is: a little salty regret, a little electricity from a former secret, and just a touch of self-deprecation. When the passion seems to have faded, but your whole body remembers the rhythm and scent, and even the music from the speakers reminds you of his voice. In this sound, there's a sweet aftertaste of unresolved issues, as if someone left the door open between the past and the present. And until the wave subsides, all we can do is admit: the most turbulent times somehow seem like the best later on.
