The prayer of a person who has finally woken up is not to God, but to common sense. There was weariness in his voice from his own foolishness, and in his words, an attempt to distinguish the woman from the phantoms, habits, and ideologies. I just want warmth, without labels or slogans. Somewhere between autotune and autotherapy, growing up sounds. It's awkward, rough, but honest. Where there used to be showing off and pseudo-philosophy, now there's a little self-criticism and a desire to find someone you can just be silent with. Without "not Polish" and "not Catholic." Just with someone who won't run away when the lights go out.
