What's The Big Deal?

There's a moment in life when you fall flat on your face on the asphalt - and it's not even dramatic, just kind of mundane. You wipe your knees, search for your keys in your pocket, and try to remember where you parked. And now he's no longer a hero, not a rock star, just a person who knows how to keep going, even if there's dust on his boots and a bartender's blender whirring in his soul. The song is about how you stop being afraid of losing. When instead of a tragedy, there's a light chuckle: yeah, he fell again, so what? The world hasn't collapsed, the sun is still shining brazenly, and a new verse is running through my head about how you'll get through it anyway. Because, ultimately, life is just an endless series of failures set to a good tune. And you dance more confidently each time.
