Description
Sometimes the ghosts of living people haunt more strongly than the dead. And it seems like everything is over: the streets have changed, the song on repeat has long been erased from the playlist, but the habit of looking back remains. In every reflection, there's a hint, in the crowd's noise, a familiar voice, in the darkness, outlines that don't exist. And even though my mind assures me it's just my memory playing tricks, my body remembers differently. It flinches at every "similar" one, seeks warmth in random arms, and gets angry that it's not the right one. Between the rhythm, the light, and the echo of past footsteps, there remains a strange feeling, as if the world has become a mirror reflecting only one person. And because of that, the emptiness somehow seems too loud.

Original
I,
I see you when I'm driving down the street.
Your red lights hit songs on repeat.
I see you, yeah, I see you when I sleep.
I,
I see you in the middle of the crowd.
I hear your voice, hear it so loud.
I turn, but you're never around.
Mm.
Thought I saw you dancing in the flashing lights.
I thought I saw you dancing in the flashing lights.
I wanna tell you that I miss you, that it's just not fair.
I try to change it with a stranger, but he can't compare.
And when he's leaving in the morning, I pretend I care. I thought I saw you in the corner, but you're never there.
I keep on trying, keep on trying, but he won't come close.
And in the middle of the night, when I take off my clothes.
I see you waiting by the bed and it's just so unfair. Oh yeah, I see you, yeah, I see you when you're everywhere.
Oh, you're everywhere.
Yeah, you're everywhere.
I see you, yeah, I see you at the bar.
His face in the back of my car.
Your name in the shape of his scar.
I,
I see you, yeah, I see you in his stare.
His fingers while they're running down my hair.
I see you, yeah, I see you everywhere, mm.
Thought I saw you dancing in the flashing lights.
I thought I saw you dancing in the flashing lights.
I wanna tell you that I miss you, that it's just not fair.
I try to change it with a stranger, but he can't compare.
