Love is an expensive thing. Sometimes literally. Especially when feelings clash with the harsh realities of life: where hearts are replaced by calculations, and kisses by conversations ‘with parents’. And it seemed like everything was real: the nights, the dreams, the plans ‘until old age.’ But reality, like a strict cashier, simply said, ‘There are not enough funds.’

And all that's left is to smile - not out of anger, but out of helplessness. Because the heart wanted ‘forever,’ but life gave a cheque ‘until the first bill.’ It's sad, of course. But that's the honest truth: sometimes love doesn't end - it just doesn't make it past the cash register.
