PT Cruiser

It smells of warm vinyl and unfamiliar perfumes on the seat of an old PT Cruiser - the very one where a great love once began, now transformed into a nostalgic remix. Memories surface like an old film, a little noisy but still warm: summer, roads without air conditioning, silly jokes and that feeling when it seemed that life was about to begin.

Now everything is different: a little sadness, a little rhythm, a little falseness in the voice - and still you want to turn it up louder. Because in every ‘wish I never knew ya’ you hear not regret, but recognition - because if it weren't for those trips, those conversations, that heat, there would be no melody. And maybe even the taste of youth itself, which for some reason still reminds me of petrol and sticky Lipton with ice.
