MIXED EMOTIONS

Somewhere between the club smoke and sudden melancholy, a strange feeling arises - everything seems to be going according to plan: the beats are pumping, phones are vibrating, someone is laughing too loudly. But inside, it's as if someone is turning the volume knob - sometimes too loud, sometimes too soft. Between the love that remains in past messages and the attention bought for the evening, fatigue hides, disguised as indifference.

Drinking, smoking, autotune is turned on - but the echoes of other people's kisses still creak somewhere under the ribs. I just want to turn off my emotions, but instead - another verse, another night, another ‘everything's fine.’ Because it's easier to pretend that everything is just a mix. Even when everything inside is playing out of tune.
