Description
Hot as midday under the tropical sun, a monologue of a broken heart. Here, they don't cry - here, they sing reproaches with their backs proudly raised and barely noticeable smiles. Once it seemed that ‘forever’ was about them, but now every line sounds like a resounding slap in the face of the past.
The resentment has burned out, leaving only cold calm. The music - slightly dramatic, slightly vengeful - draws out that solemn ‘enough!’. And somewhere between the chords, a strange lightness is born: as if the pain has finally given way to freedom, and the broken heart has suddenly started to dance.
