Tant qu’on est libre

Sometimes happiness does not lie in events, but in roots - those that go deep, where everything is familiar, calm, and truly your own. There is a tree under which years pass, and each of its branches remembers laughter, storms, silence, and that very gaze from which there is no need to run away.

Freedom here is not about loneliness, but about choice - to stay together again and again. The world is noisy, hurried, collapsing and rebuilding, and in the midst of it all, two people continue to hold on to life as if holding hands. Without loud words, without promises, simply - ‘as long as we are free, we live.’ And perhaps this is the right way to be.
