Back from the Edge

Sometimes life resembles a game with saves, where you constantly press ‘start over,’ only with slightly more scars and slightly less naivety. At first, the demons in your head dictate the rules, then there is silence, and suddenly it turns out that somewhere deep beneath all the noise, the boy who believed he could reach the stars with his hands is still breathing. And even though his fingers are now scratched and his faith is tinged with pain, his steps are becoming more confident.

It's like coming home after a long storm - barefoot, wet, but alive. No drama, no rescuers. Just a person who chose not to fall any further.
