Falling in love with the screen is quite normal. The lighting is always perfect, the dialogue is rehearsed, and no one munches loudly on crisps when the hero is having an emotional crisis. Everything is beautiful until the television is turned off, and all that remains is a reflection in the black glass, staring back with the same strange feeling that somewhere, something was real.

This song is like a confession of affection for fictional people and for those versions of ourselves that live inside films. Everything there goes according to the script, feelings are laid out in acts, and the ending is known in advance: ‘see you again.’ Only without a date. Gentle, slightly bitter, with that very adult understanding that even illusions sometimes heal better than reality.
