Gold glitters in the light, but inside it's still the same grey sky. In words - the crunch of asphalt under trainers, the smell of petrol, fatigue and pride in those who didn't break. This is not about glamour or ‘success’ in the showcase sense, but about that strange form of survival where feelings are hidden under a hood and pain is released in rhymes. The world is harsh, and he himself has become tougher, but beneath the armour is still the same man who simply wanted his son not to know these streets so well. And amid the noise of engines and other people's opinions, a kind of prayer suddenly sounds: may gangsters have fathers, and rappers have daughters.
