Description
Sometimes love is like an old cup – cracks in place, shape recognisable, but pouring something hot into it is a bit scary. On the outside, everything seems fine, but on the inside, steam rises from the unspoken. Someone there, deep down, still holds out hope that two people can drink from this cup - as long as they don't look at how it trembles in their hands.
On the other hand, you don't have to be someone's salvation. You can just be your own. Hide in your own depths until the storm passes, and then resurface - a little worn, but still the same. Because if you're going to be a wound, at least be an honest one.
