Description
The city has run out of steam and fallen silent. The streetlights blink dimly, as if unsure whether to continue shining. Somewhere, water drips, as if counting down the seconds after something big - an explosion, a rupture, a finale. But there is no finale, because the heart still stubbornly beats to its old rhythm: it loves.
It has long since stopped asking for reciprocity, simply living on autopilot, wandering the streets like a forgotten song. There is chaos in the head, a fire in the soul, but the voice sounds calm, almost philosophical: ‘let it be as it is.’ In every line there is fatigue, but also the strange dignity of a person who has survived the storm and is now simply moving on.
It's not about saying goodbye - it's about the habit of burning. Even when everything should have burned out long ago.
