Demir Attım

Sometimes life quietly drifts away from the shore, leaving behind only footprints in the sand and a couple of half-faded memories. It's as if it all happened, and as if it were all a dream. The sun rises and sets, but it makes no difference: there is no joy, no sorrow - just the same days, the same exhalations.

Here, silence sounds louder than any confession. Everything that seemed like love turned out to be a decoration, a cardboard wall with a sunset painted on it. And all that remains is to accept it - the anchor has already been dropped, the ship of loneliness stands still, and the waves are just thoughts that come and go without permission.

But there is a strange calm in this immobility. When you are not waiting for the wind or rescuers, you begin to distinguish the sounds of your own heart. It is tired too, but it is still beating - suddenly, somewhere ahead, there is a shore after all.
