Rome Is Burning

The world is burning, but it's not scary - it's beautiful. Flames are everywhere: in the windows, in my head, under my skin. They hiss and shimmer, as if someone poured petrol on my feelings and forgot to warn me. Everything moves in circles - light, sound, breath, thoughts. It seems as if reality itself is dancing to the sound of fire: sparks instead of words, heat instead of meaning. There is no need to explain anything - just be in this temperature while the air vibrates and the room breathes with you.
