Description
The loudest things usually start with a whisper - as if an old door creaked, and suddenly there is a whirlwind of feelings, promises and a little silly hope inside. Love here is not a romantic candlelit dinner, but rather a fire in a fireworks warehouse: beautiful, frightening and inevitable, with consequences.
There is something in the melody of late evening, when the room is dark, but no one is in a hurry to turn on the light. You just sit there, listening to your own violins ringing inside - the very ones that played before the breakup. And somewhere between ‘I still love you’ and ‘it's time to let go,’ a strange calmness is born. One mixed with regret and a quiet belief that in some other life, everything will work out without damage. Although, knowing people, that's unlikely.

Lyrics and translation
Original
Before we parted ways I heard the violins
Alone we danced while the storms rolled in
A little piece of mind for a troubled soul
That ain't prepared for a future unknown
But either way I'm on the line
For a lover's debt
And I don't even recognize the damage done
Yet
When love becomes the problem you just can't quit
It all piles up, sanity loses grip
Visions of the past make their way back 'round
We can't start over before we burn down
And either way you're on the line
Speaking of regret
But you don't even recognize the damage done
Yet
So I'll be waiting on the line
With the hope I'll get
To meet you in another life, with no damage done
Yet
