Past Lives

Everything around seems to be moving, but your steps get stuck in the air - like in a dream where you try to run, but your body won't obey you. Inside, there is a breakdown, then a reassembly, like a system that has frozen and is asking to be ‘rebooted’. But it seems that there is something honest in this sticking between “before” and ‘after’: not a flight or a fall, but a strange spiral movement upwards, where each turn is a little less pain and a little more acceptance.

It sounds cold, almost mechanical, but beneath the surface, a living heart is ticking - erratically, as if after a long sleep. When the ice thaws, the crack can be heard all the way to the sky, and suddenly it becomes clear: yes, everything is falling apart, but this is the way to become yourself again.
