Description
Sometimes the burden of the past is not a suitcase without a handle, but an ice cube in a glass: seemingly tiny, but preventing you from taking a sip. It melts slowly, with a quiet tinkling sound, leaving a trace of coldness on your lips. It seems easy to move forward, as all those confident people with perfectly straight backs advise. But your feet remember where they stumbled, and your heart remembers where it lingered longer than it should have.
The music seems to say: stop measuring your steps and making excuses to time. Everything that is heavy to carry will dissolve anyway if you keep moving. Let it be slow, let it be uneven, but with warmth that is still stronger than any ice.

If what we leave behind is bigger than what we take forward
How can I walk straight ahead knowing that is still my burden?
The time I spend making up for my advantage
It needs way too many ice cubes and Antarctica is melting
Oh darling, don't be scared
You're too hard on yourself
Just keep on walking straight
And you will be okay
The treasures you could find
It used to be a game
Your friends, they've all moved on
It's time to turn the page
If what we leave behind is bigger than what we take forward
How can I walk straight ahead knowing that is still my burden?
The time i spend making up for my advantage
It needs way too many ice cubes and Antarctica is melting
Oh, I'm spreading out and I'm constantly migrating
(Are you like me? Do you know what I mean?)
And my comfort zone is bigger than the Indian Ocean
(Will you fit in? Will you be my guest please?)
Oh darling, don't be scared
You're too hard on yourself
Just keep on walking straight
And you will be okay
The treasures you could find
It used to be a game
Your friends, they've all moved on
It's time to turn the page
If what we leave behind is bigger than what we take forward
How can I walk straight ahead knowing that is still my burden?
The time I spend making up for my advantage
It needs way too many ice cubes and Antarctica is melting
