The Way I'm Feeling

It's as if the heat is stuck under your skin and has no intention of going away. The air trembles, your pulse throbs somewhere in your temples, and everything around you turns into one big ‘I can't stop’. It's a feeling you want to turn off, but there's no button - just a rhythm repeating itself obsessively.

The words are almost like a mantra, as if your thoughts are trying to persuade your body to calm down, but it lives by its own rules. Too much heat, too little shade. And in this endless loop of feelings, there is something painfully human: when pain, pleasure and powerlessness merge into one long, hot ‘I can't help it’.
