Description
When the evening stretches on for an extra hour and all plans seem to revolve around the question ‘can we stay?’, a slight carelessness sets in: a hangover in the morning is recorded in the schedule as a worthy price to pay for another bottle of Sterni. The lack of money turns into an ingrained cunning - PayPal instead of a wallet, a dispute over whose keys will be lost today, and that same simultaneous ritual: identical belts, identical smiles, and a completely peaceful clarification of who is imitating whom.
The company is like an old bench in a heuriger: cramped, loud and cosy. Here, they only sing on target - other people's songs can be turned off in a flash, and fists are ready for ex-partners: defending the company's honour is always in vogue. No drama about love - spontaneity, street humour, and the ability to stay on the side where you don't have to prove anything to anyone are more important. These may seem like trifles and fragments of the night, but it is precisely these that come together in a warm chronicle of those very rare encounters.
