Together

It's as if the lights have been turned off throughout the entire house, but one has been left on somewhere inside. Everything is quiet, only breathing in sync with the rhythm, and words sound like a vow made at random. There are no loud promises here, only the certainty that together is enough. Even if the world is falling apart, even if the night is too long. The voice seems to hold your hand, not letting go until it becomes completely light. And in this light, there is no hope, just a simple human ‘we’ that for some reason is always stronger than ‘I’.
