Description
My brain kicked in too late - when all chances were already gone. At first, parties and calls were ignored in my half-asleep state. Now the tables have turned: a bottle is my only companion, and the walls listen to confessions that no one else is waiting for. Ironically, the heart that seemed to not exist suddenly started to ache.
Each verse contains football offsides, references to McFly, and melancholy wrapped in rhythm, like laughter through a hangover. It's an awkward mixture of regret and a burning desire to get everything back, even though it's clear that time cannot be rewound. The dance floor is still rocking, but inside, the stands are empty.
