Description
Dirty trainers, an overflowing to-do list and the eternal ‘let's divide everything into shares’ - the music smells of concrete, tobacco and the rustle of banknotes, which seem to fall into rhythm by themselves. There is no desire to appear righteous here: on the contrary, the raw side of life is shown, where showing off mixes with longing, and every gesture seems to be ‘off the cuff’ but with a challenge.
The irony is that behind the bravado about numbers and bars, there is a slight weariness with other people's glamour and other people's rules. Milan, Dubai, clubs, lifestyle - it all sounds like a backdrop that you want to mock and shout down. And at the centre remains the raw energy of the street: uncompromising, direct, without a glossy filter.
