Take My Time

Sometimes life resembles a wish list on the back of an old notebook: ‘go there,’ ‘try this,’ ‘fall in love again.’ And each item seems to have been put off ‘until later’ - until there was enough strength to endure other people's disappointments.

And then suddenly the moment comes when enough is enough. Enough waiting for the right time, enough adjusting, enough putting yourself last. You just want to run away - to the beach with a surfboard, to the mountains with a backpack, to a club until morning. Even if it's alone, at least it's honest.

There is no anguish or complaint in this music - just a persistent ‘live in the moment.’ Looking back at past scars, but with a stubborn desire to feel the warmth and pulse of the present again. It's as if your heart is saying, ‘Yes, it hurt. But look - the world is still huge. And there is a place in it where something is waiting for you.’.
