The bass cuts through the silence, as if someone has turned on the speakerphone for the whole flat - and it's immediately clear that the conversation is not about the weather. Here, the microphone is not for songs, but like a good old shield and spear - words like shots, sarcasm and anxiety flow in one stream. Red buttons, glare on watches, tiny manipulations of other people's hands - all this flickers against the backdrop of a city that is either asleep or pretending to be asleep.

It feels like standing in a pot that is slowly being heated: first warmth, then shock - but there is no time to wake up, because habit is comfortable and the bank account is reassuring. The irony is that there is a lot of loud glamour on stage - crumbs from the lord's table for some and black stripes on the body for others. There is a demand to think aloud, to hold the microphone straight and not to let your wings be glued down - they will not be cut off, but rather those who took them away will be carried out on the pitchforks of public memory.
