Description
Like an old photograph pulled out of a drawer - the corners are worn, but the scent of memory is alive. This song sounds like a memory of two people who were together, but for some reason were walking slightly out of step. There are no cries here, only weary breaths; no drama, only a quiet emptiness between words and touches.
The music is soft, almost transparent, like rain on glass. Each chorus is an attempt to hold on to what is slipping away, at least for one evening, at least with the help of a film in which you can pretend that everything is still the same. And there is something beautiful in this fragility: the hope that next time, maybe, it will turn out ‘right.’
