At first, it seems like a typical story about a cottage with cobwebs and creaky floorboards. But instead of cute ghosts with sheets on their heads, a very colourful ‘astral aunt’ enters the scene, who is clearly in no hurry to pass on to the other side. Here, the television turns on by itself, the dog jumps back, and, excuse me, the ectoplasm suspiciously resembles jelly from the refrigerator.

Laughter breaks through all this horror, because it's supposed to be scary, but it turns out to be an over-the-top farce. Absurdity oozes from every line - sometimes the ghost can't put on her underwear, sometimes her ‘guests' guests’ get stuck in the house. The result is a grotesque farce: it's scary, it's funny, and in places it's so ridiculous that you want to applaud - finally, a horror film that doesn't scare you, but winks at you.
