Description
Love here is like a bonfire, into which wood is thrown again and again for some reason, even when it is obvious to everyone that the fire has long been out of control. With each line, there is an admission of weakness, a bold challenge, or an almost desperate plea for one last chance. The irony is that the roles of the guilty parties are clearly defined, but you still feel drawn back to the fire, even though you know you will inevitably get burned again.
The music is as contradictory as the words themselves: in one bar there is passion and guilt, in the next there is an attempt to justify oneself. It's like an argument between two people, where neither is willing to give in. And it is this endless loop between ‘I don't deserve it’ and ‘I can't let go’ that makes the sound so alive - almost too real to believe every word.
