My Melody

The sounds convey a cold determination, as if the door is already closed, but behind it there is still the warm air of someone else's memories. There are no cries or dramatic farewells here - just a dry ‘I'm leaving’ and a slight hint of irony that a new melody is already playing somewhere further away, where someone is waiting.

The music moves like a night train: smoothly, but without stopping. Between the lines, there is a sense of fatigue from trying to fix everything and a quiet pride in having had the courage to stop being a ‘friend’ and start being oneself. And this mood makes one feel strangely calm - like after the rain, when one finally realises that things will be different from now on, but definitely not worse.
