Bari

Like a night in which time is stuck between two breaths. The air is thick with the fear of loss, mixed with the hope that at least something will remain unchanged. The words sound like a trembling plea, not quite a prayer, but not a whim either - a quiet whisper asking the world to wait just a little longer.

The melody rolls softly, like footsteps in a dark corridor, where jealousy, anxiety and a faint spark of faith that everything could be different lurk around every corner. There is no loud despair here, only a piercing tenderness that desperately holds on to the edge of sleep.

Each line is like an attempt to delay the dawn: let the night not end, let no one come between two hearts. And in this repetitive ‘bari’ one hears not only pain, but also a stubborn, almost childlike belief that sometimes wishes do come true.
