Hai Să Recunoaștem

There is no tender poetry here - words fly like remarks in the kitchen after a long day, with weary honesty and slight anger. They are about how the country is like an old house: the walls are familiar, the traditions are familiar, but the draught of disappointment blows through the corners. Irony is woven into every line: we pray on holidays, we complain between tasks, but we continue to live, argue, choose, wait.

And then the music does what words cannot - it calls us to shout louder than fear, louder than fatigue, louder than the hopeless ‘it's always been this way.’ It sounds like an anthem to those who have not yet given up: ironically, painfully, but with the hope that the voice is a weapon stronger than silence.
