Sometimes anxiety doesn't come from outside, but quietly settles somewhere behind your eyes - as if someone else's television has been turned on inside you, and now you live with that noise. Everything seems normal: dinner for one, makeup in place, a bed familiar down to the last curve. But the thoughts are foreign. Strange. As if someone else has crept into your head and is now whispering things you don't want to hear.

And on the outside, everything is according to plan: love, routine, hugs before bed. That fragile order that is held together by the unspoken. Only sometimes, between breaths, a cold thought flashes through your mind: if a stranger has taken up residence in your head, then who is left to live in your heart?
