Memory sometimes behaves like a stubborn record: it crackles, skips, but still plays the same thing over and over. The melody is like a return to a place where the air smelt different, where someone else was standing in the doorway and smiling. Now only the wind remains, the very one that stings your eyes, as if checking if anything is still alive inside. Each note is an attempt to exhale the name that is never forgotten, no matter how much I try to convince myself otherwise. And from that sound, it feels warm and painful at the same time, like old letters found by chance. The track isn't about regret, not even about how time would hug if it knew how.
